Everything you want to know about MyCitadel, the Oracle, your data, and how it all works.
MyCitadel is a personal life management platform built around four pillars: relationships, goals, wellbeing, and self-knowledge. It brings together tools that most people keep scattered across a dozen different apps — contact notes, a journal, a habit tracker, a goal planner — and connects them through an AI advisor called the Oracle that knows your whole life, not just one piece of it.
The idea is simple: the most important things in life — your relationships, your health, your sense of purpose — deserve a proper system. MyCitadel is that system.
MyCitadel is for people who want to live with more intention — who care about their relationships but feel like life moves too fast to give them proper attention, who set goals but struggle to follow through, who want to understand patterns in their own health and mood, and who believe that being a good partner, parent, friend, and person is worth investing in.
It works especially well for people who are already somewhat organized and want to take that same energy and apply it to the parts of life that matter most, not just their work calendar.
Most apps focus on one thing — a journal, a habit tracker, a CRM, a goal planner. MyCitadel connects all of these because life is connected. Your stress levels affect your relationships. Your relationships affect your goals. Understanding your mood patterns helps you understand why certain weeks feel harder than others.
The Oracle is also genuinely different from a generic AI chatbot. It knows your specific contacts, your specific goals, your specific history — and it uses that context to give advice that is relevant to your actual situation, not boilerplate guidance you could find in any self-help article.
Not at all. Many people start with just the relationships section or just the Oracle, and expand from there as they find value. The features are designed to work independently or together — whatever fits your life right now.
The Oracle is MyCitadel's AI-powered personal advisor. It is powered by Anthropic's Claude, one of the most capable AI models available. What makes the Oracle different from a standard AI chatbot is context: when you send a message, the Oracle automatically pulls in relevant information from your MyCitadel account — your contacts, your goals, your health data, your memories — and uses all of that to give you a response that is specific to your actual life.
For example, if you ask "how should I handle things with my brother right now?", the Oracle already knows your brother's name, your relationship history with him, the last time you interacted, and any notes or memories you've shared. It responds to your specific situation, not a hypothetical one.
The Oracle knows what you've shared in MyCitadel, and only that. It does not browse the internet, access your email, or pull data from anywhere else. Specifically:
The Oracle is smart about what it loads — it only pulls contact details when you mention a specific person, and only pulls health data when health is relevant to your question. This keeps responses fast and costs low.
No. The Oracle is explicitly instructed to only speak to facts that are actually in your account data. If it does not know your age, it will not guess. If it does not know what your brother does for work, it will not invent it. If it is uncertain about something, it will ask you rather than assume.
This is a core principle of how the Oracle is built — accuracy and honesty about what it knows vs. what it does not know.
Deep Dive is a special Oracle mode available on paid plans. When you click "Deep Dive" on a contact's profile, the Oracle gets access to everything you've ever recorded about that person — every memory, every interaction, every attribute, their full relationship history — not just the most recent records.
The Oracle opens with a complete overview of that person and is then ready to answer any question you have about your relationship with them, gift ideas for them, how to navigate a difficult situation with them, or anything else.
Almost anything related to your life, relationships, goals, or wellbeing. Some common uses:
The Oracle is not a replacement for professional medical, psychological, or legal advice. It is a personal advisor that knows your life and can help you think through what matters to you.
Yes. After every Oracle message, MyCitadel runs a data extraction pass to identify facts worth saving — birthdays, anniversaries, new contacts, personal facts about you, attributes about your contacts, and memories. High-confidence facts are saved automatically with a green confirmation below the Oracle's response. Ambiguous facts are surfaced for you to confirm before saving.
This means the more you use the Oracle, the richer your account data becomes, and the more useful the Oracle gets over time.
Free plan: 10 messages per month. Casual plan: 100 messages per month. Performance plan: unlimited messages. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month.
For each contact you can store:
The Oracle uses all of this when you ask about a specific person.
Each contact has a relationship health score from 0 to 100 and a status: Thriving, Drifting, or Neglected. The score is calculated based on how recently and how frequently you've logged interactions. A contact you've been in regular touch with will score higher than one you haven't connected with in months.
The goal isn't to turn relationships into a game — it's to give you a quick visual signal about which relationships might need more of your attention.
The important dates calendar shows every birthday and anniversary across all your contacts in a single yearly view. It also shows an "upcoming" strip at the top that highlights events in the next 60 days, so you can see at a glance what is coming up and plan ahead. You can browse past and future years using the navigation arrows.
Yes. If you mention someone new in an Oracle conversation and the context makes it clear they are someone significant in your life — "my coworker Jake" or "my neighbor Sarah" — the data extractor will create a contact for them automatically and show you a green confirmation. You can also add contacts manually at any time through the People section.
MyCitadel supports a wide range of life metrics including mood, energy level, stress level, sleep hours, water intake, exercise, weight, home tidiness, budget adherence, meals cooked, and more. You can enable or disable any metric and set daily goals for each one.
Metrics are logged daily and build a history that the Oracle can reference when you ask about your health or energy patterns.
Habit streaks track how many consecutive days you've hit a goal for a specific metric. If you log your water intake and hit your goal 7 days in a row, you have a 7-day streak. Streaks are shown on your dashboard as a quick motivational indicator of your consistency. Breaking a streak resets the count.
Yes. The dashboard has a quick-log strip at the top that shows all your active metrics and today's values. You can click any metric to go directly to the tracking page and log it. The daily question widget on the dashboard also frequently surfaces health metrics for quick logging.
You create a goal with a title, category, description, and optional due date. You then break it into milestones — specific steps that move you toward the goal. As you complete milestones, your progress percentage updates automatically. Goals and their progress are shown on your dashboard and are available to the Oracle as context.
Yes. The Oracle automatically receives context about your active goals when goal-related keywords appear in your message. You can ask it to help you think through next steps, identify obstacles, stay accountable, or just talk through why you're finding a goal difficult. It knows what goals you have and how far along you are.
All connections to MyCitadel use HTTPS/TLS encryption, so your data is never transmitted in plain text. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt — we cannot see your password. Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with enterprise-grade physical security and redundancy. Access to the database is restricted to only what is necessary to run the service.
No. We never sell your personal information to anyone. We never use your data for advertising. We never share it with third parties who do not need it to operate the service. MyCitadel is funded by subscription revenue, not data monetization, which means our interests are aligned with yours.
When you send a message to the Oracle, MyCitadel assembles a context package from your account data — relevant contact details, goals, health summaries, and personal facts — and sends that along with your message to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. Only data relevant to your specific message is included.
This data is processed by Anthropic under their privacy policy. Anthropic does not use API data to train their models. You can read Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Yes, at any time. Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom of the Account tab. You will find a "Delete account" option that requires you to type a confirmation phrase. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data — contacts, interactions, memories, health logs, Oracle conversations, goals — will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This cannot be undone.
We are working toward full compliance with GDPR (for European users) and CCPA (for California residents). You can access, correct, and delete your data directly through the application. You can request a data export by contacting us at privacy@mycitadel.ai. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

See the full pricing page for a detailed comparison.
Annual plans are billed as a single payment once per year. The Casual annual plan is $80, saving you $16 compared to paying monthly ($96/year). The Performance annual plan is $200, saving you $40 compared to monthly ($240/year). That's about 17% savings on both plans.
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us at support@mycitadel.ai and we will make it right. You can cancel at any time and your plan stays active through the end of the billing period.
All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment processors. We never see or store your credit card number — that information goes directly to Stripe and is governed by their security standards and privacy policy.
You can sign up with Google (one click, no password needed) or with your email address and a password. Email accounts require verification before you can log in. Google accounts are verified automatically.
The Me profile is a living record about you — your personal facts, preferences, and life stats. It has three tabs: Profile (name, timezone, birthday, anniversary), My Facts (facts the Oracle has learned about you like your occupation, hometown, love language, and more), and Life Stats (total contacts, Oracle messages sent, health logs, goals created, and member since date).
The Oracle uses your Me profile facts when you ask personal questions or when your self-relevant keywords appear in a message.
The question engine analyzes your account data to find gaps — contacts without birthdays, goals without milestones, health metrics not logged today, personal facts you haven't shared yet — and surfaces them as contextual questions on your dashboard and Questions page. Answering a question writes data directly to your account with no AI tokens used. It is MyCitadel's way of proactively helping you build a richer picture of your life without you having to remember to fill everything in.
Yes. MyCitadel is a web application that works in any modern mobile browser. On smaller screens the navigation moves to a bottom tab bar and the layout adapts to a single-column view. There is no separate app to download — just open mycitadel.ai in your browser.
The Oracle is powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. Claude is one of the most capable and carefully safety-tested large language models available. Anthropic's approach to AI safety — building models that are helpful, harmless, and honest — aligns with MyCitadel's values around privacy, accuracy, and user trust.
Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. The database runs on Google Cloud SQL (MySQL 8.0) and the application runs on Google Compute Engine. Google Cloud is trusted by millions of businesses worldwide for its physical security, redundancy, and uptime guarantees.
